and the Social Responsibility Initiative
of the Ohio State University CFAES

May 16 & 17, 2008

The time for action has arrived! This conference will provide an opportunity for Central Ohioans to explore ways to live more sustainably, as well as an opportunity to learn about building more sustainable communities and institutions in the region. This two-day conference will include a keynote address by Jim Merkel, author of Radical Simplicity: Small Footprints on a Finite Earth.

Friday Keynote: Radical Simplicity with Jim Merkel: May 16 at 7:00 p.m. in the Nationwide and Ohio Farm Bureau 4-H Center.

Registration is now open. Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged! Young People For has sponsored 40 student scholarships for free registration!

Applications are being accepted for the Youth Summit on Sustainability. Applications will be accepted until May 1, but space is limited so apply early!

This event will be held in the auditorium in the Agricultural Administration Building on The Ohio State University's West Campus.

Sustainability Now! will be the seventh annual conference held by Simply Living and The Social Responsibility Initiative of The Ohio State University CFAES, and is also presented by the Columbus Green Building Forum.
